Lump-Sum Guarantee

A lump-sum guarantee refers to the provision of a single guarantee that covers multiple transactions requiring or potentially requiring customs obligations, upon the request of AEO and OKSB certificate holders who meet the conditions determined by the Ministry. Instead of providing separate guarantees for each transaction, this system allows for a single guarantee to be submitted for all applicable transactions.

To benefit from the lump-sum guarantee system, the guarantee amount is set at 10% of the total guarantee amount arising from customs procedures in the previous year. The lump-sum guarantee authorization is granted on an annual basis. If it covers goods within the scope of the Inward Processing Regime, the minimum amount is €250,000; if not, it is €75,000. The maximum amount that can be guaranteed is €2,000,000.
